Pay in Cash - Financial Institution (except any Taiwan Post Office)

Taxpayers can make their tax payments in all financial institutions that collect taxes.

 

Pay in Cash - Convenience Stores (Payment amount limit is only NT $30,000 cash or below)

Taxpayers can also quickly and conveniently pay their taxes at each of the 4 convenience stores, which include 7-ELEVEN, FamilyMart, OK mart and Hi-Life, before the deadline of payment for the tax payable. 

 

ATM Machines 

To pay taxes, taxpayers can follow the instruction printed on the tax bill to transfer tax payments via ATM to the Revenue Service Office before the deadline of payment for the tax payable. Simply go to an ATM labeled with "Inter-Bank: Cash withdrawal + Transfer + Pay Tax" (applicable to land value tax, house tax and vehicle license tax).

 

Demand Deposit / Passbook Savings Deposit Account

Taxpayers having a demand (savings) deposit account of a financial institution (or the post office) can follow the instruction of the computer voice on the phone or the direction of the web page to pay taxes from the account mentioned above before the deadline of payment (except amusement tax that is voluntarily declared and paid).

 

Automatic Payment Transaction

Most conveniently, taxpayers can fill out a "Direct tax payment/debit application form" and apply to pay taxes directly from the deposits account of a financial institution (or the post office) for scheduled levying. Notice that applicants should register and apply two months before the Revenue Service Office starts to levy a particular tax (applicable to land value tax, house tax and vehicle license tax).

 

Credit Card Payment 

A taxpayer can utilize a credit card to pay taxes via the internet or the phone before the deadline of payment for the tax payable  (except amusement tax that is voluntarily declared and paid). It is noted that once the payment is authorized and successful, it can't be canceled or modified.

 

Chip Finance Card Payment

To pay taxes, taxpayers can take use of a chip financial card issued by the financial institution which provide the service through the internet, and just follow the instruction of the web page to accomplish the procedure. Be careful, once the transaction is successful, it can't be canceled or modified.

 

Online Payment and Inquiry

Use your pre-registered NHI card, Citizen Digital Certificate, business holder’s license or smart phone pre-registered TW FidO App to log onto https://net.tax.nat.gov.tw, and pay your tax with your credit card, chip financial card, or demand deposit / passbook savings deposit account as well as inquiring online(applicable to land value tax, house tax, vehicle license tax, land value increment tax, deed tax and stamp tax).

 

Scan the QR-Code on the tax statement to pay your tax

Use the APP on your mobile device to scan the QR-Code on the tax statement, which would link you to: https://paytax.nat.gov.tw. Next, the site would direct you to the serial number for the balance, and the amount of payment due. Choose the transfer service on your demand deposit / passbook savings deposit account, or use your credit card to pay (except amusement tax that is voluntarily declared and paid).

 

Mobile payment

Scan the QR-Code on the tax statement with your device enabled by mobile payment features, or pay the tax online, or visit the Finance and Local Tax Bureau, Tainan City, to pay.

 

Get and pay your tax bill at convenience stores

Use your Citizen Digital Certificate, business holder’s license, pre-registered NHI chip card or smart phone pre-registered TW FidO App to print out the bill from the kiosks at 7-ELEVEN, FamilyMart, Hi-Life or OK mart, and pay off your tax payable under NT$30,000.
